While holidaying in San Francisco, my left shoe slipped under the taxi driver's seat in front of me as I entered the cab. My big toe hit something metallic. It was really painful, the tip of the toe was bleeding and half of the nail ripped open.
So, following Dr Usui's example, I immediately did rei-ki on it for quarter of an hour, after which the bleeding had stopped and the pain was gone.
When we arrived and I was able to sit down, it was obvious that the nail was almost completely torn off the toe, so I put my rei-ki hands on again while drinking tea. After that we walked a lot, and didn't return to the hotel until very late. The toe never bothered me and, amazingly, the toenail had re-attached itself, so that you could hardly see where the tear had occurred.
