When I arrived home from work one day, my four legged best friend, Bruno, was limping. He was unable to put his right leg down. No one knew what had happened so we thought Bruno should go to the vet the next day for an x-ray and diagnosis.
Meanwhile I thought rei-ki might comfort Bruno, so I held his sore paw. It was surprising that he didn't resist, as he doesn't otherwise like to have his paw held. yet he accepted a second rei-ki treatment after dinner for a longer period and, by bedtime, was testing his weight on the injured paw and beginning to move more freely.
After another short burst of rei-ki, before I left for work the next day, Bruno was walking around normally. We saved time and money as no visit to the vet was required. More importantly, Bruno was no longer in pain, thanks to rei-ki.
